Kodak has launched a new camera from its EasyShare M-series. Available in Plum, Silver, Red and Black, the EasyShare M420 is a 10MP camera that provides a 4x optical zoom Schneider-Kreuznach Variogon wide-angle zoom lens (35 mm equivalent: 28–112 mm) with image stabilization and blur reduction. The camera also has a 3.0-inch (7.6 cm) wide-angle viewing color LCD with auto picture rotation.
Microsoft has rolled out another affordable webcam in the form of the LifeCam VX-2000. This easy-to-use camera is capable of capturing VGA video as well as 1.3MP digital still images. Other interesting features include an auto-adjusts for low-light conditions, a built-in microphone and Windows Live features, which include Video Effects, Video Messages and Windows Live Call Button for easy initiation.
JVC is the first manufacturer in the world that introduced the 4K2K 60p camera that produces four times the resolution of Full HD (1,920 x 1,080). The 4K2K camera is able to provide 60 progressive frame live signal output and 8.29MP 4K2K (3,840 horizontal x 2,160 vertical), ultra-high-resolution images. The camera is also supported by a high-resolution Super Hi-Vision (SHV) D-ILA projector that can project video at 33-megapixels with 10,000 lumens of brightness and a staggering 5,500:1 contrast ratio. JVC’s special high-speed data transmission format enables the 4K2K 60p signal processing unit to be located up to a maximum 100m (328ft) away from the camera for a higher degree of movement for more active shooting.
Sony just unveiled three new easy-to-use camera from its Alpha series in the form of the A380, A330 and A230. The 10.2MP A230 is the lightest and most compact Alpha DSLR camera that weights at only 15.9-ounces. Meanwhile, the 10.2MP a330 and the 14.2MP a380 are also smaller and lighter than their predecessor (a300 and a350).

This compact web camera is capable of capturing high-quality VGA 640 x 480 video at 30 frames per second as well as digital still images. Other features include a built-in microphone and a set of touch sensitive LED lights placed on the left side of the webcam (rotatable), so you’ll be able to chat freely while in the dark. For your convenience, this USB webcam can either stand on your desk, or attach to your LCD monitor.
